ABOUT ME

I’m a Digital Artist based in Hamilton, NZ. I don’t take myself serious but it’s the complete opposite with my work.
I started Freelancing on a small scale when I began Tertiary Studies in 2012. Since then I’ve done a wide variety of projects from branding, marketing, promotional, graphic, animation, illustration and more. Additionally I’ve had opportunities to work with international clients and showcase my work outside Aotearoa.

I draw inspiration from Toi Māori with Japanese and Chinese influences with my main passion being Illustration. Constantly trying to balance relevance, readability and aesthetic has it’s challenges but is super rewarding when you managed to find it. That’s my approach to all projects no matter the size.

    Mahalo Nui Zayne for the new logo for Waiāhole Elementary School in Kāne'ohe, Hawai'i. After months of trying to get something done locally, we couldn't find something we liked. Finally, I figured I should ask my Maori friend all the way in Aotearoa to create something for us. He did and it is a winner!
